We collect your personal information to include you in our talent pool, so that we can connect you with one of our startups when an interesting vacancy appears.
To be able to contact you about the vacancy, we need to collect and process your personal data and share this data with the interested startup. When you agree to the terms of this privacy notice, you agree that IMEC may process your personal data in accordance with this privacy notice. All personal data will only be used for above mentioned purposes.
We process your data to add you to our talent pool under the lawful basis of consent.
You have the right at any time to withdraw your consent, without having to give a reason. You may do so very simply in writing to istart@imec.be after which we will process your cancellation as quickly as possible.
We gather following personal data about you:

· Last name
· LinkedIn profile
· Skills
· CV
· Open field answers
We save your data in Cognitoforms and share it with potential interested startups, so that they can contact you about interesting vacancies.
Cognitoforms is located in the United States. Howwever, IMEC will ensure that your data has proper protection at all times and hence it will only be sent to countries or corporations that are able to guarantee equivalent protection (for example, these corporations fall under the EU-US Privacy Shield).
We process your data the lawful basis of consent. You always have the right to retract your consent. You also have the right to restriction of processing, right to data portability and right to object.
You have the right at all times to access your Personal Data. You can also ask us to amend any data that is incorrect or request us to delete all of your data. You can do this simply by sending an e-mail to istart@imec.be where you can also ask us to delete your data from our records.
When making a request, please attach a copy of your identity card so that we can be sure we do not delete and/or amend any data inadvertently without you wanting us to do so.
Your personal data will be kept in the talent pool for 1 year.
