To be able to contact you about abovementioned topics, we need to collect and process your personal data. When you agree to the terms of this privacy notice, you agree that IMEC may process your personal data in accordance with this privacy notice. All personal data will only be used for above mentioned purposes.
We process your data to send you the newsletter and the program manual under the lawful basis of consent. If you have downloaded the program manual as a start-up, we might also contact you with information about the open calls under the lawful basis of legitimate interest.
You have the right at any time to withdraw your consent, without having to give a reason. You may do so very simply in writing to istart@imec.be after which we will process your cancellation as quickly as possible.
We gather following personal data about you:
Your data will be stored in Cognitoforms and will be linked to Mailchimp to send out the mailing communications about the event and our other services, products and events.
Some of these parties receiving your personal data are located outside the European Economic Area (EEA), such as in the United States (for example, Mailchimp and Cognitoforms are US corporations). However, IMEC will ensure that your data has proper protection at all times and hence it will only be sent to countries or corporations that are able to guarantee equivalent protection (for example, these corporations fall under the EU-US Privacy Shield).
We process your data to send you the newsletter and the program manual under the lawful basis of consent. You always have the right to retract your consent. You also have the right to restriction of processing, right to data portability and right to object.
You have the right at all times to access your Personal Data. You can also ask us to amend any data that is incorrect or request us to delete all of your data. You can do this simply by sending an e-mail to istart@imec.be where you can also ask us to delete your data from our records.
When making a request, please attach a copy of your identity card so that we can be sure we do not delete and/or amend any data inadvertently without you wanting us to do so.
Your personal data will be stored for 4 years after last registered activity (such as open mail, request documentation, etc.).
imec.istart reserves the right to use any photograph/video taken at any event, without the expressed written permission of those included within the photograph/video. Imec.istart may use the photograph/video in publications or other media material produced, used, or contracted by imec.istart, including but not limited to brochures, invitations, books, newspapers, magazines, television, websites, etc.
