Italy is the 3rd largest economy in Europe and the 8th largest manufacturing economy in the world. Home to a population of 60million and a fast-growing and dynamic startup ecosystem Italy is ripe for opportunity. Since the 1960s, Milano, Torino and Genova have been the major economic drivers for the Italian economy but numerous markets from Florence to Rome to Napoli await to be untapped or leveraged for growth. While there are plenty of obvious and not so obvious opportunities, doing business in Italy does have its fair share of challenges.
