About Medical Robots

Medical Robots is the developer and manufacturer of the Hibbot, a mechanical robot that helps children with cerebral palsy learn to walk. The Hibbot mimics the physiotherapists supporting hands during therapy. The Hibbot does this with adjustable support strength in all 6 degrees of freedom, allowing a stable and fully supported therapy at start on to a more advanced, less supported therapy after time, evolving with the child’s capabilities and progress. The goal is to increase the activity level of the children and to learn these children to walk by themselves with a correct walking pattern.
